USC Belser Arboretum Open House

Posted by: Marcil on Jul 14, 2007 - 06:14 PM
The USC Belser Arboretum
The Arboretum will be open at both the Wilmot and Bloomwood entrances from 1-4 pm for folks to walk the Loop Trail.

Dr. Pat DeCoursey is conducting a seven-part series of "workshops" for the Open Houses. The first five will consider Weather and Plants in 2007. She will discuss the unusual temperature and rainfall of 2007 in the Columbia area and some of the effects on plants, both native forest and gardens. July's topic is "Too Much Water".
Please consider walking to the Arboretum as parking will be limited. Stay on marked trails. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints. No tobacco, alcohol, food, radios, cell phones or pets are allowed.
