To help identify our neighborhood, we are working on street sign toppers for our intersections.

As a another step in building the identity of the Sherwood Forest Neighborhood, several neighbors have worked to develop a topper for our street signs. The design features the Major Oak, the legendary tree of the original Sherwood Forest. Our oaks may not be as old, but our neighborhood certainly has its share of impressive trees!



A mock up of the topper will be installed at the corner of Kalmia and Yale unless the weather is rainy. Photos of the topper in place are also available here: Topper1, Topper2, Topper3 Comments are welcome.
