Sherwood Forest Neighbors will be voting Tuesday, November 4 in two voting precincts: Ward 14 and Ward 17. Ward 14 includes the south side of Duncan Street to Kalmia, the west side of Kalmia south to Mimosa, and the south side of Mimosa to Beltline. We have posted voting information including links to the candidates' web sites and sample ballots.

The 39 member commission, including Sherwood Forest resident Valerie Marcil, examined transportation needs in the areas of transit (buses), roadways, and bike and pedestrian facilities. After meeting for 18 months, the commission is proposing a vastly improved bus system, solutions to traffic congestion in portions of the county, and a system of sidewalks, bike paths, and greenways to encourage walking and biking. If you are interested in good transportation, now is the time to provide input to the County.
