The committee's initial focus has been internal to City government. As a future focus, the committee will identify community outreach and education programs to encourage others to take action to live "greener." CPAC hosts the annual Green is Good for Business Climate Protection Action Conference, where attendees learn more about the environmental challenges our area faces and ways they can make a difference. With the unveiling of the Green Business program, CPAC is helping businesses and non-profits develop green business models for their organizations.
