SFNA Adopt-A-Highway Clean Up Saturday, February 9, 9:30-11am Volunteers are invited to participate in the cleanup which is part of the Keep The Midlands Beautiful Adopt-A-Highway program. We will meet at the Piggly Wiggly parking lot. We will work from Devine to Rosewood on Kilbourne, then east to Beltline, and finishing at Sherwood Forest Church. Historic Sherwood Forest Neighborhood & The Original Frogtown Community: Together Again Saturday, February 9, noon - 2pm Heathwood Park Recreation Center at 800 Abelia Road The 2nd Annual Historical Reunion Anniversary Celebration... sharing reflections, coming together Sonya Renea Grantham will present more insight on the early lives in Sherwood Forest and adjoining neighborhoods. With great appreciation for contributions from the Belser Family, UofSC and others, the patchwork of history will be re-told by Ms. Grantham with stories, images, artifacts, music, posters and lots of sharing from the audience. USC Belser Arboretum Open House Sunday, February 17, 1-4pm The public is invited to an open house at the W. Gordon Belser Arboretum. The open house program is held the third Sunday of every month, and features a variety of learning elements in these events.
