Here is your SHERWOOD FOREST CRIER February 7, 2014 Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Association General Meeting Our association's quarterly general meeting is Tuesday, Feb 11th at the Sherwood Forest ARP Church from 6:30-8:00 PM with socializing and snacks from 6-6:30. Our speaker is John Fellows of the City of Columbia Planning and Development department. He will brief us on upcoming projects in the city including the following. Note: He will not be able to brief us in detail about the Devine St./Ft. Jackson intersection project, but rather summarize all the big projects currently in planning. This should be a very interesting topic! Projects in planning that will be briefed include: Devine St./Ft. Jackson Grevais Street Plan Land Use Update Development Code and Zoning Code Update Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan Bike Share Feasibility Study Facebook event... Adopt A Street Trash Pickup The Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Assocation has adopted our neighborhood streets for litter pickup. The next scheduled pickup is Saturday, February 8, 2014. We need a Beautification committee chairman to coordinate the pickup! This event is part of the Adopt-A-Street program of Keep The Midlands Beautiful.
