Adopt-A-Street Trash Pickup February 20
On Saturday, February 20 the Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Association will be picking up trash and cleaning up our neighborhood. We will meet at Brad Painter's home at 320 Kalmia Drive for coffee and doughnuts at 9am. At that time we will hand out trash bags and safety vests, and then clean up afterwards. This event is part of the Adopt-A-Street program of the City of Columbia. USC Belser Arboretum Open House February 21
The staff of the W. Gordon Belser Arboretum cordially invite the Sherwood Forest Community to an Open House on February 21 from 1 to 4pm. The Open House is a part of the Arboretum's monthly Open House events to make the Trail and exhibits of the Arboretum accessible to the general public of Columbia.

Kalmia Drive To Be Re-Surfaced
A contract has been let to re-surface Kalmia Drive in the near future. The SFNA will work to provide more details on scheduling and detours when they become available. If you have specific requests or concerns, contact Lewis Kirk at 787+3450 or send e-mail to webmaster@sherwoodforestneighbors.org and we will collect them to submit to the City.


Municipal Elections For Mayor And At-Large Councilperson
The Municipal Election Commission of the City of Columbia will hold a general election for the City of Columbia to be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. To vote in this election, you must register 30 days prior (March 5). Register at the Richland County Board of Voter Registration, 2020 Hampton Street, 576-2240.
