Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Association General Meeting
The next general meeting of the Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Association is scheduled for Tuesday, May 10 at the Sherwood Forest Presbyterian Church on the corner of Wilmot Avenue and Beltline Boulevard.

Our Sherwood Forest neighbor Lisabeth Medlock will make a presentation regarding the activities of The Palmetto Project’s Community Flood Hub.

We will have a neighborhood crime update from CPD PACE Officer Kevin Schmidt. Our City Councilman At-Large Howard Duvall will also be in attendance. We will be planning the Summer Kick-Off Cookout, and discussing whatever neighborhood concerns there may be.

Come mingle over refreshments starting at 6pm. The general meeting will be from 6:30-8pm.

New Neighborhood Messaging System
Nextdoor is a new social networking service that limits access to posts to the people in each neighborhood or those nearby. You may have received a postcard that seemed to say that Nextdoor is the official neighborhood network. The Sherwood Forest Nextdoor service was not set up by SFNA and is not endorsed by SFNA, and SFNA has no control over membership or content; however, a number of our neighbors have signed up and you may find it useful.

SFNA has an official Facebook page, a Facebook group, and a Twitter account in addition to our web site, email newsletters and alerts.
