Here is your SHERWOOD FOREST CRIER August 2, 2016 Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Association General Meeting The next general meeting of the Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Association is scheduled for Tuesday, August 9 at the Sherwood Forest Presbyterian Church on the corner of Wilmot Avenue and Beltline Boulevard. We will have a neighborhood crime update from CPD PACE Officer Kevin Schmidt. If you have any concerns or comments, please come on down and share! Come mingle over refreshments starting at 6pm. The general meeting will be from 6:30-8pm. Facebook event... August Sherwood Forest Food Truck Rodeo Friday, August 26, 5pm-8pm The Food Truck Rodeo is coming to the neighborhood two more final Fridays this summer and August 26 will be the next. We will have dinner served by a variety of food trucks with shaved ice thrown in for fun! You can stay and eat here with your neighbors or take it home for your family. Facebook event... Be a Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Block Captain! Block Captains are the front line of the neighborhood association. Block Captains serve to pass information from the association organizers out to the neighborhood, and just as importantly, pass information from residents, renters and property owners back up to the assocation. Many of the tasks are ones that you would undertake just by being a good neighbor. To share the tasks, a Block Captain is encouraged to recruit a Co-Captain. Here is a map of our Block Captain zones. Please let us know if you would like to be or know anyone who would like to be a Block Captain. Or volunteer to be a Co-Captain!
