Sherwood Forest Neighborhood General Meeting
The next general meeting of the Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Association is scheduled for Tuesday, November 13. The meeting will be held at the Sherwood Forest Presbyterian Church on the corner of Wilmot Avenue and Beltline Boulevard. Socialize with your neighbors from 6–6:30pm. The general meeting will be from 6:30-8:00pm.

If you have an issue you would like discussed at the meeting, please contact Ed Tilden at 803 212-8605 or email president@sherwoodforestneighbors.org.

Bring yourself, your family, your neighbors, and any concerns you may have to the meeting!

Adopt A Street Trash Pickup
The Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Assocation has adopted our neighborhood streets for litter pickup. The next scheduled pickup is Saturday, November 3. We need a Beautification committee chairman to coordinate the pickup! This event is part of the Adopt-A-Street program of Keep The Midlands Beautiful. More information about the Adopt-A-Street program is available on the Keep The Midlands Beautiful web site at http://www.keepthemidlandsbeautiful.com.

Volunteers Needed to help our neighborhood!
If you would like to contribute to our neighborhood association's success we need you to volunteer for one of our committee chair positions. We need a Membership Chair, Beautification Chair and Safety Chair. These positions are critical for our association, but the work involved is not that demanding.

Anyone who is interested in serving in one of these positions please contact Ed Tilden, at president@sherwoodforestneighbors.org or by phone at 530-2436.

SFNA has several openings for block captains and co-captains. Block captains are the backbone of our organization, so please consider volunteering. For a map of our zones and current block captains, see http://www.sherwoodforestneighbors.org/html/pages/blockcaptainsmap.html
