Annual Neighborhood Halloween Party
The goblins are haunting
The monsters will mash,
It's time to get ready for
Our neighborhood Halloween Bash!

Cynde and Rob Devlin are hosting SFNA’s Annual Family Hot Dog Bash on Thursday, October 31st from 5 to 6:30pm at 504 Kalmia Drive. Hot dogs and fixin’s, and chips and other sides will be provided. BYOB and bring a picnic blanket or chairs. Trick or treating will commence after the party.
  • A neighborhood event for the young and young-at-heart!
  • Costumes are encouraged, but not required!
  • Kalmia will be blocked off from Blossom to Wilmot for the Hot Dog Supper.
  • Luminaries (candles in paper bags!) will be available for you to use as a signal that you are a neighbor open for trick or treating.
Please contact Cynde and Rob Devlin at social@sherwoodforestneighbors.org if you would like to help with the Hot Dog Supper and to coordinate food items.


2013 Municipal Election
The 2013 Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5 in the City of Columbia. The following offices will be included in this election:
  • Mayor
  • District I Councilmember
  • District 4 Councilmember
  • At-Large Councilmember

SFNA General Meeting November 12
The next general meeting of the Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Association will be held Tuesday, November 12 at the Sherwood Forest Presbyterian Church on the corner of Wilmot Avenue and Beltline Boulevard. Socialize with your neighbors from 6–6:30pm. The general meeting will be from 6:30-8:00pm.

If you have an issue you would like discussed at the meeting or if you need transportation to the meeting, please contact Ed Tilden at 803 530-2436 or email president@sherwoodforestneighbors.org.

Bring yourself, your family, your neighbors, and any concerns you may have to the meeting!


Adopt A Street Trash Pickup
The Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Assocation has adopted our neighborhood streets for litter pickup. The next scheduled pickup is Saturday, November 9, 2013. We need a Beautification committee chairman to coordinate the pickup! This event is part of the Adopt-A-Street program of Keep The Midlands Beautiful.
