Come early (6pm) for a meet and greet with the candidates running for Columbia City Council District 3 and At-Large seats (Brian Boyer, Belinda Gergel, Councilman Daniel Rickenmann, Cameron Runyan, Reed Swearingen). The candidates will also make short presentations prior to the general meeting. Information and web links for the candidates are available at http://www.sherwoodforestneighbors.org/Article148.html.

Committee reports will include updates on 4 way stop signs, street sign toppers, the Interim Measures for Community Character Protection, and the Arboretum. A mockup of the street sign topper is available at http://www.sherwoodforestneighbors.org/Article150.html

We will also be discussing the Mission and Vision Statement and Goals for 2008 which the executive committee has developed, and volunteer committees to support these goals.

Of course, as always please bring your suggestions, concerns, ideas, and neighbors with you! Remember, you must be a member to vote at the meeting, so join today.

Adopt-A-Street Trash Pickup
On Saturday, February 9 the SFNA will be picking up trash and cleaning up our neighborhood. Everyone is invited to help. We will meet at Brad Painter's home at 320 Kalmia Drive for coffee and donuts at 9am. At that time we will hand out trash bags and safety vests, and then clean up afterwards. It shouldn't take more than 2-3 hours. Please come help if you can. This event is part of the Adopt-A-Street program of the City of Columbia. More information about the Adopt-A-Street program is available at http://www.keepthemidlandsbeautiful.org/AAH/AAH.asp.
